The Edge of the Wedge is an intimate, 100 capacity mini-venue attached to the front of The Wedge.

There is a constantly changing line-up of events from the hottest local and "next big thing" bands on the touring circuit, to regular acoustic shows, baby raves and eclectic DJ sessions, stand up comedy, aftershow parties and band signings for our big brother venue.

The Edge provides a small and well equipped, venue which is accessable to new acts as well as touring artists.

Each week an acoustic club runs in the Edge which is set up to provide local acts with a platform to perform, and also to showcase touring acoustic musicians. Styles vary, classic sounding solo singer-songwriters through indie, punktry, country, folk and blues.

Entry is normally cheap, and is paid directly to performing artists.

Through early 2010 we also teamed up with Music Room to run an Acoustic Showcase, with the winner receiving valuable studio recording time and a £500 Martin Electro-acoustic guitar.
